First time poster here, just found this site and it looks like a great place to learn! Here is my entry. Little guy in my backyard caught my eye. The golden shine and details on its shell was definitely unexpected and beautiful.
Simple beauty in an unexpected form - wonderful shot! It might be even prettier if you PS'd out the sand grain and adjacent imperfection in the shell. Thanks for sharing this great capture!
Very good representation of this week's theme. Your entry reminds us that we are surrounded by a marvelous creation, if only we will open our eyes to see it, and it illustrates that even the lowly snail can be surprisingly beautiful. Good luck with your first entry!
