nice thought. i like the use of black background.

i took a similar shot a weekback. got the idea of my photo while preparing for breakfast and watching something on tv where a jail-inmate was making marks on the wall...

Thanks for the comments. I was worried some one else would do the same thing, or at least along the same idea. Good job on the writing on the egg, I can't see that as easy to do.

Also this is my first 20d B&W and I thionk it came out the way I pictured it. At first I had it on a cutting board (plastic) and it didn't have the great contrast I wanted so I ended up taking this on top of my laptop.

Hey Keith,
this shot is not for the challenge. as i mentioned, i took it a couple of weeks back and as my title suggests, is completely different concept than yours.
btw, writing wasnt difficult. after breaking the egg...get that thin-transparent layer out...so the shell will have very rough surface. the trick is to let it dry and then parmanent marker...bingo. you have to use very strong light to get the translucent look of the shell though.
