There's an abundance of nauture hre in CA, just need to get into the right frame of mind for more contemplative shooting. For example, this past vacation in the mountains, and aside form the snaps of my family, I got shots of five different bears, plus, 4 different deer "in the wild," but I wouldn't consider these as getting into the zone, observing things more closely, and shooting "nature portraits."
PS - Anyone interested in this lens, please be mindful of the serial number. There are two versions, Ai and Ais. The Ais is the later and superior version. It has 9 aperture blades versus 7 for the Ai.
