That looks a bit wider than my 3540L. I know there are a couple 5-series Gitzos with 4 or more sections, a few of which are made for extreme height (3540L w/o the center column up is high enough for me...)
As to which one, I'm not sure....I don't know gitzo models by sight, other than mine
I have a few CiA photos that I'll post up when I do the editing for the past 3 day's photos....

Impressive camo uniforms but really it wouldn't have made a difference even if they were without one. This type of attire is to tactically blend in with the environment in a dense forest surrounding, not so much in an open urban setting where the birds (or whatever wildlife) can see you as one sees thru crystal clear water. If stalking in the open city you do not need a camo uniforms, only the long lens - the longer the better.
