I usually do too, but I wasn't prepared for the baggage restrictions at the airport. Either check in my work laptop (which I'm not supposed to do) or check in my gear - chose the latter to my misfortune. No word yet from US Air - the only number that they gave me to call is a toll free one that I cannot use in the UK. The waiting continues...
Seth Tower you are correct it is a new Canon fd 800mm f5.6L bought it from Bullets 2 weeks ago. i agree it is a spectacular lens. i will also add that it was a most enjoyable purchase from Bullets.
Great thread guys, some awesome photos. Lots that didn't display for me though - just "this photo copyrighted by its owner" text or a small image box with a copyright notice in it - maybe 40% of all the photos posted in the thread (ok the first 40 pages anyway!)

This thread is two years old this week, so you can't expect everyone to keep files on the same websites forever. Some people run out of space and delete files, change urls, providers, etc.

Yeah, I suspect this is the reason. When I started viewing the thread I didn't notice how old it was until someone commented on it. I only realised this after my post.
