'tis a sad time. My otherwise reliable Canon is out of action with a mirror-related failure @ 27,250 shutter actuations. It is currently enroute to Irvine for repairs.
In the meantime, a barely-used 20d will begin its journey from Texas to my home
Okay - here's my contribution - sort of a self potrait. I was working on some close-up shots of my new niece and noticed I could see myself (with my 20D) in her eyes. You kinda have to close one eye and squint, but it's there.
I know Guy pointed it out, but why the hell are all these guys using the really crappy canon straps? I use the op-tech strap, it really works and as I shoot 12 hour weddings I couldn't live without it, and that's just with a 1Ds, 24-70L and flash, not the monsters these guys are carrying.
Well I suppose there will be plenty work for the doctors in years to come, hell for you crazy folks in the US, you could probably sue.....
