HiltonP,
Your wife does nice work. She makes that 17mm on a 20D look wider then it is.
d~
Thanks mate. Right now she loves the 17mm capability. I'd like to show her a 12mm, or even 10mm lens, but am afraid she might like it, and want it! She has a wonderful eye for angles and composition, but almost no technical knowledge, so I feed her suggestions on f-stops, ISO levels, etc and she fires away. We make an interesting team!
WOW,check out the lean on the building in merv's shot!!
That's a facinating image,i can see why it's one of your favorites.
(edit.....o,kaaay.My newness to this forum is showing! lol
I was commenting on images from the first page of this thread, little knowing it had more than one page.
Just a little more
I also love the swimming pool picture with it's immediate impact. It all makes me want to get an ultra wide myself.
For the moment i'll have to be content with occasionally stealing my brothers sigma 10-20 (when he buys it)
Another one of my wide shots. This one was very easy to take. I just had to be there at the right time to catch the location with out any boats/fisherman here.
