I think I like the 2nd one best! It's the sodium vapour lights doing it, removing too much of it makes it look funny. Is it RAW or JPG? I had a 10 second play in CS2 on the JPG and couldn't do anything with it.

Sodium vapor casts an overwhelming color to a scene so leaving the color cast it casts, isn't a bad thing.

It takes a minor tweek (ten seconds) to bring out the richness of the image's quality.

This was only taken with a 17mm (17-40) but is the result of stitching six vertically-oriented photos together so you get a 180 degree view from left to right which gives it a great mega-wide fisheye look. I have no idea what the equivalent focal length to get this same view in a single shot would be but it would be WIDE.

I like this picture. It's a shame, those powerlines are a bit distracting. Maybe you should consider cloning those out.

Actually I like the neg. space they create. It adds movement all long with the light poll brings your eye into the shot then the building moves your up eye through the photo.

I would think wide lens and the Brooklyn bridge would be a shooting extravaganza, great shot

Kawter, I love the first shot, looks sharp to me.

Kawter, your first shot is really cool! I like the second, too.

And Whayne, I like the way all the lines lead to the figure at the right of the frame, with such a lovely, deep blue sky.

Another excellent thread. Full of inspirational shots. Some of the wide tall images are giving me vertigo
