p.1 #1 · where is root folder on cf card

im trying to update the firmware on my 1d2. the instruction say to put the firmware bin file in the root directory on the memory card. when clicking on my memory card on the desktop i have the first folder which is (dcim) and inside of that i have a folder (100eos1d) where do i put this firmware file?

Just drag and drop the file to the memory card.

On a PC, the root directory should be the drive letter (in my case K
