I got some nice images of this GBH yesterday at my favorite park. He was perched on a branch on the island in the middle of the park pond.
I got an inordinate number of images of him sitting there preening and looking around. I really wanted to get some in flight shots of him, but the silly thing just refused to take to the wing for me. I sat for close to an hour thinking he would go fishing, but he waited me out. I guess he must have had a really nice breakfast.
