A cloud had mostly blocked the setting sun producing the lovely soft pastel light when I took this photo of a Great Egret about to takeoff from Marie's Point at the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge upstate NY.

With the simplicity and glow of this image I would consider the removal of the clutter above and maybe a bit less to the right.

That light is amazing, love the pastels you captured, gorgeous wing position and the head turn was helpful! Simply beautiful👍
