p.1 #1FPS Reduction when using autofocus
I have a Sony A9 II, and I recently updated it from the 2.00 firmware to 3.20. After updating it, I noticed that when I have a third-party lens attached and turn the autofocus on while in AF-C, the frame rate drops noticeably. Here's a video showing the issue: https://youtu.be/Mq4m9KHX5CU?si=yKaTmHHQpQqI3bIT]

The frame rate drops only when in Continuous Autofocus; when in Single, DMF, or Manual Focus, the frame rate stays the same.
I have also set my AF-C priority to release rather than AF, and am still having this issue. Does anyone know how to fix this, or is this just normal behavior?

It is normal for 15 FPS for third party lenses on Sony.

That's how 3rd party lenses works on Sony bodies. It's one of the 3rd party limitations.

Okay, I appreciate it. I knew they limited the FPS, but I didn't realize it only applied while autofocusing.
