Dear all,

I am considering to get a ZF makro-planar 100mm.

In case I get it, I would like to use an step down ring. I would like to use it with the rest of my objectives that utilize 52mm threads.

I see that the objective has a certain area of plastic surrounding the lens. Have anybody tried this?

Will I get vignetting?

Same with 55mm. Even this would be tremendously advantageous.
