Any veteran M10 users out there have a solution for this other than sending camera into service or buying a new bottom plate? I have taken it apart and re assembled, tightening the screw, but it appears the screw has nothing to do with this issue.
The tab keeps falling open and won't stay up in the plate housing. I guess the tiny pin is worn (?).
Not the end of the world but kind of annoying. Any ideas?
I have the exact same issue. I have also tried tightening the screw to no benefit. If anyone has any at home fixes for this short of sending in for repair or replacement, I'd love to hear them. Right now I'm just taping it shut with a bit of gaffer tape.
