p.1 #1Z9 VF Satellite Indicator
If I set the display to basic info and all else off, I get a nice clean image without anything superimposed on it and a black border with pretty much all I care about. Problem is if I turn on location info it shows a GNSS Satellite symbol on top of the lower right corner of the image. Is there a way to get rid of this while having location info enabled? I'd like the GNSS tagging, but I absolutely hate things overlaid on the image view; they invariably affect the composition since I find it impossible to ignore them. So I keep it off...

I mean, it's already displayed on just about every info display and the top panel already, why also put it in the viewfinder

The satellite icon is a component of the SIMPLE (basic shooting info) option for EVF and monitor. The only way to have location data ON but to not see the satellite icon is to disable the SIMPLE option in d20 (monitor) and/or d21 (EVF).
