I lost the original rubber eye-cup for my OM-3 which, I've read, is not uncommon. Is there anywhere to purchase a replacement for it? The only replacement that I can find is an extended version that is a bit awkward for an eyeglasses wearer like me, and I'd like a copy of the original standard sized version. Any help or information is greatly appreciated.
Yes you can buy the original (I've lost 3 so far)! However I've also tried 3 x third party eyecups (I live in Shanghai so it's easy to get various models cheap, which means you don't need deep pockets to experiment)
I really didn't like the extended version and I don't wear eyeglasses ! I'm now using one that looks very similar to the original but doesn't come off as easily. However it was a no-name so I can't give you a link (I bought it off Taobao). I would just go on Aliexpress and search, I'm pretty sure you could find one there and it won't be the ridiculous price of an OEM.
