This might be a question for the Fuji forum, but I'll try here first: I'm finding that Image Capture on my newly-acquired M1 Mac Studio can't see either of my Fuji cameras (X-T5 or X-H2). I'm connecting with a USB cable (verified OK) to the front panel USB ports, but it just doesn't see the camera. It DOES see an external drive connected to either of those ports, so the ports are OK physically, and my M4 MacBook Pro DOES see the cameras with Image Capture. Both computers are running the latest OS. All of which seems to indicate that there's some incorrect setting in the MacStudio, but I can't find it. Suggestions appreciated.
I posted this on the Fuji forum and someone suggested I try the back ports. To my surprise, that worked. Problem solved! Could this be by design? What would be the reason for having one set of ports function with Image Capture but not another set?
