I picked up the Sony 300mm F/2.8 on the first of September, it's new. Since I live at the 600-800mm range, I picked up the new 600 F/6.3 and this is a better fit for my shooting style.
The lens has had a neoprene skin on it since it arrived, I'll include it in the sale as well.
The lens is as mentioned, just about as new as you can get for a "used" lens. I've shot with it maybe six or seven times, it's super sharp as one would expect, with the 1.4x or 2x on it.
