Over the Oct 17-18 weekend I spent approximately 20+ hours photographing the annual WC/WCX Field Trials that our Golden Retriever Dog Club hosts every year. You are welcome to search for what WC/WCX means. I won’t be providing that information here. I have since spent another 30+ hours sorting through and processing 1255 frames.
For a number of reasons, photographing this event typically comes with a handful of challenges every year. This year was no exception. In many ways it seemed to be even more challenging than in years past, mostly because of excessive backlighting, where I was allowed to sit, and very tall weeds/overgrowth that caused havoc with the AF. Out of 1255 frames, I could only salvage 462 images to post. That’s a dismal keeper rate.
Anyway…..I thought I would share some of my personal favorite G rated images. I will only post a few at a time so as not to bore anyone. No, I won’t be posting all 462 images. Calm down.
Ah, I see what you did here, Larry -- but we know what is on those dogs' minds.
Very nice action shots -- #5 gets my top pick.
Sorry you had to deal with the 'Appropriate Forum Police'!
