I'm sure you'll find ample reason to deny there is any innovation by Leica based on your past participation in Leica threads.
Well, as far as that marketing-speak blah, blah, blah goes, Leica is undeniably extremely innovative.
When it comes to the actual photographic technology, frankly, I can’t think of a single thing that could be called innovative. Just name a few innovations, and I’ll consider whether or not I can deny them "based on my previous contributions" (what an innovative turn of phrase!).😇

Honestly, my first association was—an NBA-themed next Leica, with an orange half-ball as the shutter button... and an engraved inscription "heritage dunks the future" (or vice versa).
They drop a miami heat leica and I'm gonna have to have a conversation with my wife about why I need to dip into our joint savings.
I don't see it. I could see a Leica x Morgan collaboration or even a Ferrari or Pagani or whatever. But F1? A Nikon or Canon is a more appropriate analogy and collaboation. But hey who am I to judge.

It would have been cool to see a carbon fiber top plate and lens housing, with titanium dials, or something more bespoke beyond just some accessories... you know, to go along with the whole F1 race car design philosophy.
I agree. Usually special editions have different materials and colors. The F1 Edition is basically a black Q3 43 with new accessories, featuring no change to the black aluminum chassis. Still, I think Leica calculates they can accomplish a goal with minimal expense, and that's what we got. It's still cool for those who are big fans of F1 and the Q3 43. Lucky for me, I don't love the "43" model even though I am only a fan of Formula 1.
