p.1 #1Idiosyncratic 1/3 stop meter vs 1/2 stop lenses and shutter dial
On the Leica M digital cameras (specifically I have a M10-R), the shutter dial is in 1/2 stops, most lenses are in 1/2 stops ...

... yet the meter is in 1/3 stops

I wonder why Leica doesn't release a firmware update to allow the user to choose. My old Canon 1 series cameras from the early 2000s had this setting as a custom function.

I get that scientifically this may not matter at all (approximation and all that), but from a user experience perspective it quite literally does not line up.

I only see this of course when using the visoflex or LCD; the rangefinder > 0 < meter doesn't show this except when using exposure compensation in aperture or shutter priority and I see +/- 0.3, 0.7 in the finder.

While it may be 'correct', it is not 'right' in my mind.

Not a deal breaker, just a weird idiosyncrasy.
