Up for sale is a museum-quality Leicaflex SL MOT 35mm SLR camera body.
The camera body is in near-mint condition, showing virtually no wear on the finish or leatherette. Mechanically, it operates flawlessly with accurate shutter speeds and a smooth film advance. The built-in light meter is fully functional - something of a rarity for these bodies today.
Notable Issue:
• The small, screw-in battery holder cap on the bottom of the body is tricky to open and close due to slightly damaged threads on the cap itself. It still secures fine, but the cap is a bit finicky. It is a relatively cheap, easy-to-source part if you wish to swap it out, but it doesn't affect shooting once the battery is inside.
What’s Included:
• Leicaflex SL MOT Camera Body
• Body Cap
This is a beautiful, professional-grade mechanical body from the best moment in Leica SLR history. Perfect for a collector and/or an active film shooter.
