p.1 #1 · Comparing Ultra-Wides: Sony FE 16-35mm GM II vs. Canon RF 15-35mm L
Hi Sony community. I’m transitioning from Canon to Sony for architectural and interior photography. While I'm a big fan of the ergonomic benefits of the Sony setup—especially the lighter lenses and dedicated aperture rings—I have some concerns regarding image quality and autofocus reliability.
Specifically, my 16-35mm GM II paired with the A7R VI isn't yielding the same level of corner-to-corner sharpness I'm accustomed to with the Canon RF 15-35mm on the R5 II, and I've noticed occasional focus inconsistency.
Are these known traits, or could I have a copy-variation issue? Has anyone directly compared these two ultra-wides?
