Glue for battery/memory card door rubber cover?

I have several camera bodies (Sony and Canon) that have the battery and/or memory card door cover peeling off. This seems to be a common weakness in cameras.

Is there a glue that I can use to glue it back?

Would you mind posting a picture or two? I think I could recommend something, but it depends on the nature of the peeling.
