I recently bought an used Nikon mt Sigma 150 2.8 macro and after getting it home i noticed some slight fungus on the part of the front element. I have bought a rubber removal tool to remove the front lens ring to get the front len element out.
Does anyone have any experience of disassembling this lens as to front lens removal?
If it's not that bad, just let it be. Probably won't show in images especially since it's on the front element. Disassembly and reassembly may cause lens element alignment issues. You could send it back, too.
