Hi! I'm working on a humble focus stacking app and I'm writing to see if any of you can send me your focus stacks to test out on, via Dropbox or WeTransfer or the like. Currently I'm shooting with the Z6III, and the stacks have been great. But it's only a 24mp body, I'm ingesting at most 16 frames, and it's simple stuff around my house. Here are the things I need help with:
• I need stacks that are comprised of more than 30 frames
• I need high res stacks - 45-50mp - but of course ~100mp would be great to test as well
• A component of the app is a gauge that reports back to you the visual integrity of the stack, and I'd love to feed it more samples, both objectively good and methodically produced stacks, as well as erroneous stacks with missing segments or depth leaps that are too large.
• I'd also welcome any feedback in advance for features you'd look for in a focus stack app - I know about Helicon, and Zerene. Zerene has retouching components and mine won't
• Also, I'm toying with a "pro tips" tab that compiles advice from people who are knowledgeable stackers, things like best lenses, best camera settings, tips and tricks on their process, etc.
I am not doing anything with the work you'd share with me apart from testing it - it's not going to be used or posted in a broad sense, and certainly wouldn't be shared with others.
