I went out in the front yard and picked a leaf from a Maple Tree. I sat in front of the computer monitor and tried to recreate the color on a blank piece of paper. 1-is the closest I could get.
I then went looking for digital print format color values for leaves and the values were R 92-G 169-B 4. On another blank piece of paper I used these values and poured on the paper. 2-looks like this.
Then I went and looked at all the trees in my yard on a fairly bright day and they are still yet a totally different color than the other examples, but closer to the digital values. 3-shows what I think I saw.
This does not even take into account that different trees have slightly different colors of green.
When you have trouble with colors, this is why.
