We all know how prickly and hairy coneflower plants can be, so I was very surprised to find this little gray (green) tree frog resting on a petal of a coneflower.

Interesting sundial. Incredible B&W flower. It appears you've found a mature gray tree frog and it smiled for your camera.
The frog appeared one day when I was watering my flowers. He was grey UNTIL I picked him up after the water scared him and he jumped onto a potted plant.
He immediately turned green.
I gently placed him back in the flower pot.
Then 2 nights ago I was closing my "dutch-door" shed and the top half, there he was! I rushed in to get the EF-S35mm with built in ring flash to see how the images would look.
Hand held but the ring flash did an excellent job lighting the tree frog.
Pics are crap but I wanted to try the ring flash out!
Thanks Ed!
