I love stark lone trees like this. The snowy mountains behind frame it nicely.
What do you think about cropping off the bit of sky at the top? I find my eye drawn away from the tree.

Jim, here's your suggestion and that works also. I included more of the background to show the vast surroundings

Beautiful. I took a photo of a burnt tree many years ago and there was something so beautiful even though it went through a stressful experience.
