Media Mod lets you connect HDMI output to the camera as well as microphones.

Each has a battery, but no memory cards, I need those for my other cameras, they use micro SD cards and I prefer $70 Sandisk Extreme 256gb micro SD cards.
You can mount the cameras to the plastic/metal of the car front or the roof to include your car in the footage, or both, that's what I do, and monitor and turn on one or both when the scenery and clouds are optimal.
Here are my videos over the years, focusing on rainy and snowy seasons, with a little fall colors video, but that one is from Pormido dash cam, GoPro would have looked better.

My focus being photography, videos took a while to be interested in, but the attraction has been that videos can be taken while driving, controlling and previewing the recording from inside the car with a smart phone.
There are time where photos would take a setup and searching but videos just happen, and they can give something to do on those trips when photography is not ideal.
I am selling because I got the gear bug, got to use the latest, Gopro 13 and Mission 1 Pro, and decided to go from the older setup to a newer one, even though the older setup has done great.
More photos coming, these are all from 1 set of Gopro 8 photos,
another Gopro has a chip in front element (could be an issue shooting into sun with reflection, I didn't notice a problem) and the 3rd Gopro 8 has a broken rear display, but is still usable.

You can walk around holding Gopro on a stick (from Gopro, even AI image stabilized version is out there, or a plain short holder, or one with big battery in it).
I use my Gopro like that, but mostly I use them car mounted with a car battery connection, so they can go all day long.
You can manually transfer files or you can have GoPro subscription where you just connect to USB-C power at home and it starts auto upload to GoPro cloud (your own area) and from there you can download videos and see all the past videos in 1 place from any internet device.

In the same sense of creating with photography, you can crete videos and you can go as far as you want with the energy involved, or start slow, there is always something interesting to see while traveling for photos.
My website above shows 46 videos, I have material for another 100 from the past monsoon season, short ones 30 seconds long, some longer ones, some with music added.

Davinci Resolve is the free way to edit videos, you open MP4, pick a section, add to it, add music, more is possible too if your interest is there.
