This is the rare g28 converted to a rangefinder-coupled Leica M mount. I purchased it from Edison Yao in Canada, who is known for his custom lens conversions.
The conversion features a completely custom-made barrel and a uniquely designed matching lens hood—not the original Contax G28 hood.
Condition:
- Glass is clear with only some normal internal dust
- Custom barrel is in good condition with slight signs of use
- Focus feel is good
- Rangefinder alignment is accurate
- No other issues
Compatibility:
- The rear element protrudes from the mount
- Compatible with Leica M cameras except the Leica M5
- Also compatible with the Ricoh GXR
- Please do not mount it on other cameras without first confirming rear-element clearance
Included:
- B+W UV Filter
- Custom-made lens hood
- Front lens cap
- Rear lens cap
