p.1 #1Billingham Pro or One
Greetings. I'm looking to hear first hand experience from users that have or own these bags. I'm totally conflicted on which setup I want to go with. I shoot a D800 with the vertical grip and only use a prime or two. What I'm curious about is the comfort. How they conform to your body and handle weight distribution.

Here's an old thread with some comparisons - https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1703713/0&year=2021#15625100

@pwschladen specifically mentions that the One doesn't conform as readily as the Pro.

However...I don't think either bag will fit the -gripped- D800. None of the images I've seen show gripped bodies. The Billingham site even mentions it: "The (Hadley Pro)...fits most DSLRs (without a battery grip) or almost any mirrorless camera"

The Hadley Pro is my all time favourite bag to shoot from but I don’t have a gripped body. It worked well with my D850 and before that my D800. It might be possible to fit a gripped body body in but not comfortably or conveniently.
The Hadley One should work better though I think you would need the $94 optional full insert.

Here is a great review

The author is a Biilingham enthusiast and has reviewed most of their bags. It could well be than one of their bags for Leica might suit you better.

Hope you'll let us know how it works out for your gear. (I've always liked the Billingham bags, but could never quite find the right one for the gear I like to carry).

Ha. As soon as billingham restocks on the colorway I’m looking for, I’ll let you know. Another note, i will be removing the vertical grip , however it dawned on me i could just keep it stored in the bag 😆

You may want to consider this
https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1958193/
The seller appears to be even more of a Billingham enthusiast than I am.
The F8 was, if I remember correctly, a special for B&H and initially didn’t appeal to me - too boxy.
However the great depth front to back could very useful. A smallish bag that may accommodate a gripped body.
It might be worth sending a PM to bherman as he seems to be a connoisseur of all things Billingham and can probably give helpful advice.
