p.1 #1 · Article on Emil Busch & ROW - History and Projection Lenses

Since this sub seems open to all kinds of adapted and historic lenses I hope it's fine to post it here, otherwise please let me know...

I've done a lot of research on Emil Busch, a very influental German company in the early days of photography and also the follow-up firm VEB ROW and written a (probably way too long) article on the history of the company as well as the range of projection lenses. I've used many of those as adapted taking lenses and while not all are equally suited for that purpose a couple of them do provide interesting results in my opinion.

I hope this is of interest to some people who are also fascinated by the lesser documented areas within the optical history!

You can find it here:
Emil Busch & ROW

This is pure hobby-project, so of course there's still a lot of speculation and uncertainty there.

If you know more about any of the series mentioned or the history behind the company or are aware of a source where I can find more concrete information, I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know, so I can further improve the information provided.

In case you have no idea what kind of images can be expected with some of these very old projection lenses, here are a couple of samples:

Well... it's a niche topic sure...

But among all the people here who have an interest in alternative lenses, is there really no one who has experience with any of these lens series?

... or any other Emil Busch & ROW lens for that matter?
