2026 Shrode Photography Competition Exhibition ... exhibition will be on display October 4th, 2026 – January 10th, 2027 at the Shrode Art Center, Regenhardt Gallery. Gallery opening, evening of October 3rd. Awards (tbd) announced at opening.
Also, Shrode Art Center is sometimes (technically incorrect, but same campus) referred to as "Cedarhurst" and "Mitchell Museum" by locals around Mt. Vernon, IL ... for those who might recognize it by those names, instead.

Shrode is the only competition I enter on a (semi-) regular basis, so I'm always pleased when I'm juried in.
Judging was by Rob O'Neil of Albany, NY.
Rob O’Neil is currently an Upper School Photography teacher at the Albany Academy, NY. From 1999 to 2021, when the Center for Art and Design closed, he was a tenured faculty member at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. He received his Master of Fine Arts in Cinema and Photography from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1998 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography and a minor in Art History from the University of Akron in 1992. He has exhibited locally and nationally and is in numerous permanent collections.
