FT: Leica Q3 for Leica SL3-P
Looking to trade my Leica Q3 for a gently used Leica SL3-P with USA warranty.
I purchased the Q3 new from Leica Store Miami in April 2026, so it is only about four months old. It has seen very light use — approximately 3,042 images in my Lightroom catalog.
The camera is in excellent condition. The only cosmetic flaw I can find is a tiny nick on the left aluminum edge of the flip-out LCD. The LCD itself is perfect and has had a screen protector installed since day one. I have also kept a UV filter on the lens since new. Includes box and all original accessories.
I registered the camera for Leica’s additional one-year warranty extension, which extends the warranty period through April 2029. I will include a copy of the original Leica Store Miami invoice.
I can also include, depending on the trade:
• Helium He3 grip in very good condition with all parts and tools
• Analogous brass satin-black Leica dot
Current U.S. retail pricing on the Q3 is about 10% higher than the SL3-P, so I would expect a modest cash adjustment on the SL3-P side, depending on its age, condition, warranty status, and included accessories. Happy to work out a fair trade for both of us.
I’m specifically looking for a clean, gently used USA SL3-P with remaining USA warranty (hopefully with the one year extension with registration).
I’m located in the San Francisco Bay Area and would strongly prefer a local face-to-face trade. I’m also willing to arrange insured shipping with an established FM member with a solid history of positive feedback. For a shipped trade, I’d propose that we agree on values in advance, each cover and insure our own outbound shipment, and ship with signature required.
