Hi folks, I'm sure plenty of us wish we bought an xpan before the insane inflation due to the 'resurgence' of film and influencers hyping up certain cameras (I'm looking at you Mamiya 7).
Today I saw an impossibly good deal on an xpan and the eBay listing subvertively showed how to get to their website which looks legit and has 2 different xpans for sale for ~2400 USD with the 45mm both in absolutely mint condition.
You know what they say, when things look too good to be true.
A quick reverse image search shows they stole the images from a £12k listing from a UK camera store.
Be safe out there.

Lol £12k!!!!! Haha for a "new" camera with only 80 rolls fired. I could buy the one from RobertWhite, the other one from Ffordes and still have £5k left for film.

That's crazy. Back in the day I was hoping for more XPan lenses, but the reality is the 65x24 proportion was often too short. The M7 system was more versatile and they had 6 lenses.

What do you mean by the M7 system had six lenses? Or do you mean six different frame lines in the VF?

The off-site redirect alone is a pretty clear sign of a textbook eBay scam. No reverse image search needed.

Yes, there were 6 lenses for the M7 and M7 II. I had both cameras and all 6 lenses. The Xpan had only 2 lenses so not enought choices for me. The 45 was the one to get.
IIRC the M7 43 and 50 had external viewfinders. I don't recall about the 210 in the VF, maybe only the M7 II. Th 210 was like a Mountain Elmar so I used lasers for focusing distance.
Anyway this thread is about Xpan and scam which I agree is fishy. I would only buy expensive used items from a reputable store with a return policy and some options for credit card protection.

EBHXpan actually has 3 lenses - 30,45 and 90. But yeah limited options.
In actuality those three cover six focal lengths depending if you shoot pano or regular 35mm - as you can do that w a flick of a switch.
In pano the 45mm has coverage of a 28mm lens, in 35mm it has 45mm coverage etc.

The best Xpan, unfortunately, is a GFX camera with in-camera crop.
