For what it's worth, I have the G20 (similar rated capacity to the G6) and it is rock solid with my Pentax 67 set up (6-8lbs depending on the lens). That said, I can't imagine it would actually handle the stated capacity (20 or 30kg, depending on what Leofoto site you look at). I use it with a Sunwayfoto leveling base (LB-75) to extend the limited adjustment range. Stated capacity for the LB-75 seems more believable at 15kg.
