PS - Douglas got me thinking some insight might be helpful. I really like the way this bridge was built. It's a great example of the type of lumber construction I see in the PNW that reflects using local resources, and it crosses a creek that provides habitat for several species, including fish. It leads to a path through the dunes to the beach, but the bridge itself is what I was concentrating on.

A bridge, leading to somewhere, Greg!

Your observation skills are unmatched Douglas! It's a bridge over a creek leading through the dunes to the Pacific Ocean. I've stood right there a few times to wait for the right light, but I think winter will be better when the sun goes off the frame to the left.
