This particular driver seems to be more buggy than usual. A number of users are reporting export issues with PL9 after installing this driver.

I'm often surprised at how many updates there are for cards mostly 1.5+ years old tech like 50 series. I don't bother unless perhaps a game needs it?

Coincidence or what? I was talking something similar to this might happen on another thread and I see this. Don't know whether to feel happy about my instincts or sad coz I use DXO PL 9

Nvidia typically updates the drivers once a month. I use the Studio driver, and there are often improvements/fixes listed in the release notes for the various creative apps. I usually wait a week or more before installing the update and occasionally skip it if it seems to have a lot of reported issues.

DxO PhotoLab 10.0.1 and 9.12.1 for Windows are now available and resolve the compatibility issue with NVIDIA driver 616.56. For additional information, see the link in the initial post.

Even with latest nVidia and 10.0.1, the Sony a7rVI files are green only against black.

I downloaded a sample RAW file and didn't see that effect with DxO PhotoLab 9.12.1. I don't have PL 10 or the latest Nvidia driver installed yet.

I thought I read somewhere on here that the issue is with the 12 bit files generated in burst mode on the RVI and has nothing to do with the Nvidia driver.

Has anybody tried the new Nvidia Studio driver 616.92 for windows. Thats at least what my laptop downloaded this morning.

I just installed the 616.92 driver. Looks good so far with a couple of edits I just did.

It's fine for PL10, yet an older one (not the one with problems) was also good. I don't auto update drivers in general unless there is a specific need. There are too many issues with being on new buggies.
