"Should I buy this?" and, "Should I take the lens I already purchased and have never used, sell it, and buy this other lens I've never used?" are two different questions. One is most likely normal, though it could be an indication of a problem, the other is likely to be the subject of a TLC reality show.

I bought the Leica 35 APO M and LLL 35 f1.4 roughly the same time.
I got my LLL 35 f1.4 back which was front focusing and it’s seems to be corrected. But it’s pretty damn good. The Leica APOs are just one of those luxuries - no looking back but the LLL 35 APO looks to be a good alternative. Go for it!
