35mm Film: Nikon FE
120 Film: Plaubel Makina 670
Digital: Nikon Df

I long-ago sold the FE (to upgrade to an FE2), and really only shoot film on my Plaubel anymore, but I have no plans to upgrade the Df.

Man you really beat that one up.
Mine has a small crack in what looks like the Bakenlite casing.

I think careless storage took more of a toll than anything.

My very first camera was a Prinz 110 Luxe. I finally tracked down the model after sifting through countless types, as my original has been long gone for over 35 years. However, I had this picture of me (on the left) holding it on Christmas when I got it in 1983 or 1984.

Looking at it's somewhat unique shape I tracked it down and found one in Norway and now I have it again:

My first 35mm camera was a Samsung Zoom 77i compact 35mm film body that I used from 1994 until I got my first digital camera (Kodak DC3400) in 2001.

My first SLR, and shortly after I really started getting into photography, was, like many, the original Canon Digital Rebel.

There is a Gold Edition Df on eBay. Nikon should make a Gold Edition Zf as well

Glad you were able to track it down and own. The joy on your faces in the picture is priceless. I wonder if you had fought over the size of the gift that you have in your hands vs I presume your sister's hands....

It was something similar to this. Saved for a LONG time to buy it, then forgot it on a bus and never saw it again. Lost interest in photography for another 20 years after that incident.

Back in the 1960s. A few different Brownie cameras, and Kodak Instamatics. My Dad bought a mid-60s, Polaroid Land Camera, he let me use it sometimes for a few pics. My first 35mm was a post-war Voitlander Vito ll, it was my Grandfathers and in those days still worked. Shot a lot of TriX in it. And when I was 9, a neighbor taught me how to develop it, in her darkroom, and even cut/load my own rolls of film from bulk. I still have the Vito ll, but haven’t tried it out in a couple of decades or more.

If I could bring one of them back, it would be the Polaroid Land camera, and the film we had for them back then, I would do it in a second.

“Does this us poor dad?”

“Yes son. Yes it does.”

Pretty sure that it would have been one of these…
