Sibling Rivalry
p.1 #1Sibling Rivalry
I had an opportunity to watch two sibling juvenile Re-tail hawks try to see who was the toughest. There are is nothing quite as funny as to watch as juvenile raptors inter act.

Cool captures, Dave. No doubt it could get more serious with injuries when they fight over the same prey.

You caught some very unique shots of action that most of us never get to see.

Tony thanks for the comments. You do worry that they might hurt themselves. This action happens when they are waiting around for mom and dad to deliver food.
Morris thank you I’m glad you liked them
Tollefsen thanks very much
Louie thank you, it is so much fun getting to watch the behavior after they fledged.

Eric thanks, the sounds were interesting when these juveniles would call for food over and over, and see which one (there were 3) would get the food first, then eat and leave the rest for one of the other juveniles
Malka_1 thanks. Your right just like little boys fighting or playing with sticks
