Date code UN1104 (Nov 1999). This lens has seen it's fair share of use. It's not in great shape, but the glass is near flawless (there are a few very small cleaning marks in the coating - see images). It's missing one of the bearings for the collar, so it rotates slightly roughly, but works fine. The rubber rim of the lens has a slight dent in it. The mount gasket is slightly chewed up. All that said, this lens is SHARP and works great on an RF body with an adapter.

NOTE: This lens does NOT come with the correct cap, or the hard lens case. The cap included is the one that came with it when I aquired it - the one for the FD 300/2.8L. It works, but I never used it anyway. The lens will ship packaged appropriately inside of the soft Lowepro lens case pictured (in a box, of course), which is a perfect fit for the lens with an RF adapter mounted.

I have two EF-RF mount adapters that can go with any two of these three lenses.

This lens is like new, and according to the serial number is an August 2015 example. I bought it from the original owner who either had not used it at all, or only mounted it a couple times (I can't recall). I've owned it since January of 2016, and it has had a filter on it almost full time since.

I am selling it because I "upgraded" to the RF model some time ago, and this has been sitting unused. The RF version is slightly sharper, but lacks the BRO element that this version has. This lens, in general, produces cleaner images as a result, especially in out of focus areas.

Includes Box as new, as well as a 72mm Hoya S-HMC UV(0) filter (not shown in images, but will ship installed on the lens)

I have two EF-RF mount adapters that can go with any two of these three lenses.

Bought this lens brand new, Sept of 2020. Works great on RF mount via an adapter. Despite the fact that I love the 28mm focal length, Ijust never got into shooting this much. Until Canon pays the 28mm focal length any attention, this is the best 28mm available for Canon... unless you want to part with autofocus and several thousand dollars.

Includes box, hood, soft case as new. Also includes a 77mm Hoya S-HMC UV(0) filter not visible in the image below).

I have two EF-RF mount adapters that can go with any two of these three lenses.
