The "Bug Light" officially the Long Beach Bar Lighthouse, stands in Gardiner’s Bay between Greenport and Orient Point, New York.
Built in 1871 on a screw pile foundation that made it look like a giant water bug, it burned down in 1963 and was faithfully rebuilt by local residents in 1990.
