p.1 #1 · Amway Grand Plaza Hotel Grand Rapids -- Abstracts

I enjoy capturing architectural abstracts in the cities I visit. Grand Rapids, Michigan has impressive architecture. Many historical buildings have been preserved. Grand Rapids isn't nearly as big as some of the other cities I've visited recently (Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Kansas City)...but it does have a few contemporary towers which made for great photography subjects.

One of the buildings I spent some time with was the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel (a Hilton property). The oldest part of the complex is nearly a century old and I've included a picture of the lobby. The 29-story glass tower was later added.

1- This photo was captured back in 2023.
