Last week I spent a couple of days shooting in the Alabama Hills. I always get up at dawn if there are good clouds to shoot in the early light. On my 2nd day I got out just after sunrise and there was only 1 little cloud formation in the western sky around Mt. Whitney and I'm always looking for a lot of drama in the sky and landscape. This pushed me to appreciate the simple, minimalist vision.
