We love Asheville and of course the Biltmore is there.
What a treasure in all forms...these are from many years ago..we took our "4 legged" girl with us and she tended to the llamas at out "cabin" while we were gone. God love her!!!
The "holo-ing" you see is actually ground haze rising from the land.

This was MY 1st child Douglas....rather very late in life but that I lived without encountering a love, a friendship, a bond I never felt from another creature including humans..except my wife....would have been a tragedy for me!
Abby was a treasure!

Asheville is a fantastic area Greg!
They had a bad flood last year I believe.
The "cabin" we stayed in for a week is in the posted photos. The "Smokies" are not far. Mountains everywhere and the ridges are layered into the heavens!
I will post a few more area photos...
Yes Abby was a real sweetheart! My 1st "child". I miss all my "kids".
