I've been absent, major project of getting my home ready for sale and maximizing its value on the market. The good news the invest in time and materials and great guidance from my girlfriend made it a huge success!! Might have some extra gear money too
Needed a walk in the local fav garden for an hour or so between appts so I grabbed the 400-800 and A1 and went for what got my attention in a short amount of time. Here we have some insects and later some florals

Glad you got out. I know how long and hard you have been working to get your place ready for the sale. Looks like it was a good outing ( and good for you ), definitely captured the beauty of this place. Hopefully have a little more time for more walks soon.

Great set from a quick, stroll, Karl, for some reason there are very few butterflies and moths here this summer. Last summer, I saw some that I'd never seen before, but this summer, only "Miller Moths".
Love the plate-sized Hibiscus!

You haven't lost a step Karl, terrific set and probably helped soothe the soul a bit to get out and do something "normal".
I'm with the crowd on #4, what a shot! But I'm also going to call out #10, that is a great teaser to close out with.
We honeymooned in our first home in 1987 for 15yrs and then moved...yeah, stressful... hard to believe we've now been in this one since 2002... where does time go? I wish you all the best in your new adventure!

Really missing being out shooting but now that the heat and humidity is likely passing to more favorable weather I hope to really enjoy late Summer into Fall.
The huge hibiscus grabbed me too, such a wonderful deep powerful red amongst those luscious greens! More to come ...
