p.1 #1 · SL3-P video performance for long sessions
Idk if anyone is able to comment but I’m debating between sticking with my Sony video setup (a7c) or get the sl3-p to match the m cameras I own 😊
I'd love a setup where all I have is Leica and I'm willing to sell my Sony glass and pay the difference. The big thing I cannot tell is that video is important for me and will the SL3 keep up.
What are the realities of overheating, especially with long streaming sessions in 1080p 24/30? I get that 4K overheats but that's not normal for me so I can deal with 1080. Also if any of you are willing to test it, does the USB-C port allow for webcam streaming to the computer? It has an HDMI port so I can get around this but it'd be convenient to have one cable to charge and stream
Sometimes I have my Sony gear on for multiple hours (not recording) but displaying over hdmi and recording to a local computer over OBS/ ecamm
