I just returned from a family reunion vacation that went from Portland to Oceanside, a small coastal town, and back to the city. I have basically replaced my DSLRs with my Z50 II and packed just my Tamron 18-300 along with the tiny kiit lens for this trip. The compact and lightweight nature of the kit makes it so easy to transport as well as carry on my extended walks and hikes. I would be a very happy camper if I ever went camping! As you can see, mist became our companion for much of our time at the coast. The first image is from Silver Point Interpretive Overlook just past Cannon Beach taken as we made our way down to Oceanside. One great thing about Oceanside is how quiet and uncrowded it is. Even the few folks on the beach with us were often ghosts in the mist as seen in the second image. We were happy to have gone out to see the sunset colors on our second night as the heavy mist prevented any such opportunities later in our stay. Perhaps you can get a sense of that in the next two images taken on our last day during a hike along the Cape Trail. The final image was taken at the Japanese Garden when we returned to Portland. The Japanese Garden and International Rose Garden are both located in the same park and well worth a visit. Thanks for viewing!
